This blog will tell the story of our life living with up to 5 Newfoundland dogs at a time in our small house . The posts will be taken from my recent book entitled Life Among the Giants. It will be a humourous story of the ridiculous changes in our lifestyle we must make in order to survive living with these gentle giants.
We will post every few days about another adventure with these wonderful dogs.
Hope you will follow along with us and tell your friends ..

Great looking site Bill!
I loved your book – and will love reading those great snippets of we Noof owners are familiar with from Life Among the Giants.

I’ve read the book so many times, I think I have it memorized. So great that you’ll be sharing it with people who don’t have the book on hand. Whenever I need a lift, I just look up a story about Rim and Molly and Rowdy and Bailey and Enchantee. They make me smile everytime.

Oh…how quickly they grow. Feels like yesterday we picked up our girl in Brighton Ontario she weighed 11 lbs. A little ball of fur she is now 19 months old and weighs in at 142 lbs and measures 28 inches at the shoulders. She is just a true gentle giant but a stubborn one. Enjoy the early days they grow so quickly.

Hi Bill
We had a major problem with the breeder we had for Yogi- i/ve been told that you must have 100% confidence in them so we backed out- and lost our deposit.
Now, i have coming next week, a five month old all black girl- Her name is China.
Consequence– my new neighbour is Debbie Abbot she owns Tulee (sp) : Rimshot is her great grandfather.
anxiously waiting for our new addition
